Daphne Butler
Marriage and Family Therapist
Daphne Butler is a marriage and family therapist in the Nashville area. Prior to this role, she worked in the marketing and public relations fields, using her expertise in the fields of investor relations, corporate communications, crisis communications and customer care.
Daphne has been an advocate for education reform in Nashville for over ten years and began her career at the U.S. Department of Education as part of the federal America 2000 program in 1991. Since then, she has served on several non-profit boards in Nashville, including as Board Chair of the Teach For America Nashville-Chattanooga Regional Advisory Board from 2011 to 2021. Additionally, she has served on the boards or led major fundraising initiatives for KIPP Nashville, STARS Nashville, The Land Trust for Tennessee, The Sexual Assault Center, The Frist Art Museum, and The Children’s House of Nashville.
