Jeff Takiue
Director, Educator Leadership
Jeff Takiue is currently the Director of Educator Leadership. Jeff builds relationships with local alumni, collaborates on team efforts to develop the leadership of current corps members, sets conditions for alumni connectivity and engagement, and cultivates authentic and mutually beneficial partnerships with schools and mission-aligned community organizations to help match alumni with their desired leadership
pathway and/or career.
Jeff grew up in Hawaii and graduated with his Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Jeff began his career in education teaching high school social studies. He earned his Master of Education Administration and Supervision before serving as Vice Principal, District Academic Officer, and Elementary Principal.
Jeff is active in the non-profit community as a leadership consultant. He is a member of API Middle Tennessee, The Table, The Village, and the Center for Nonprofit Management. He is passionate about empowering leaders to make a difference in our community.
