Accelerating Scholars: High Impact Tutoring for Nashville Students
The Accelerating Scholars program is actively recruiting community volunteers to tutor up to 7,000 MNPS students who need a little extra one-on-one help and personalized support, especially in elementary reading or middle school and high school math.

The highly ranked Johns Hopkins University School of Education offers an online master’s degree exclusively for TFA & TNTP corps members, fellows, and alumni nationwide. As a candidate in our program, you will complete work in a flexible, online format that supplements the work you are doing in your classroom. Tennessee Leaders For Equity: Educator Workforce Recruitment and Retention Grant
Eligible awardees include educators, nonprofits, schools, or districts.
Grants can serve as seed funding to explore a new idea for recruiting and retaining a diverse educator workforce, or they could be used to enhance an existing, effective practice for diverse educator retention.
Strategies for supporting recruitment & retention in rural districts are of particular interest, given the unique challenges in increasing and maintaining educator workforce diversity in those areas. However, applications from all types of districts will be considered.
The application can be found in the link. Grant recipients will be awarded $2000. The deadline to apply is June 25.
Youth Creative Leadership Fund
Creative Reaction Lab is dedicated to uplifting young people and further establishing their agency to become strong change-makers in their community. The Youth Creative Leadership Fund is a program designed to support young people in producing their own creative projects that address racial and health inequities in their communities.
Economic Inequality Initiative
Uncharted has launched applications for their new Economic Inequality Initiative to support individuals working on radical ideas to address economic inequality. Each participant gets a $25,000 unrestricted grant.
